Mortal Illusion
Vienna - 1938
In the 1930's, as the shadow of Nazism loomed over Vienna, master furrier Joseph Holbeck and his wife, Katja, built a life and started a family. When Hitler annexed their homeland in the 1938 Anschluss, the Nazis shattered their ordinary existence. Forced to navigate a world of propaganda, terror, and impossible moral choices, the Holbecks and their friends must find the courage to survive a regime that threatens to destroy their city and their lives.
This isn't just a story; it's a testimony, and that will resonate deeply with readers.

I really enjoyed " The Lives of the Saluti Brothers" It is a heartfelt, well-crafted story with in-depth research, rich characters and an engaging plot. The bond between the brothers, and the themes of loyalty, and ambition were handled beautifully. It is a book that stays with you. Highly recommended.
